Privacy Policy — ToDoodle It

Last updated: 13 October 2026

ToDoodle It (“the app”) is a personal to-do list app developed by Chadwin Clark (“we”, “us”). We designed the app to keep your data under your control and to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

Information stored on your device and in your iCloud

Everything you create in the app — task titles, notes, due dates, lists, subtasks, priorities, and recurrence settings — is stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage.

If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, this data is also synced to your private iCloud database so it stays up to date across your own Apple devices. This sync is handled by Apple (CloudKit): the data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple’s Privacy Policy, we do not operate any server in this process, and we cannot access your data. If you are signed out of iCloud or disable iCloud Drive, your data simply stays local to the device. If you delete the app, the on-device copy is removed; any iCloud copy is managed through your Apple ID / iCloud settings.

Reminders (notifications)

If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local reminders on your device for tasks with a due date/time. These notifications are handled entirely by your device and are not sent through, or visible to, us.

Voice dictation (microphone & speech recognition)

The app offers an optional voice-dictation feature so you can speak a task instead of typing it. If you use it, the app accesses your microphone and uses Apple’s speech-recognition service to convert your speech to text.

In-app purchase

The app offers a one-time “ToDoodle It Pro” purchase to unlock all features. Any purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, card information, or Apple ID. Purchase validation is handled by Apple’s StoreKit on your device.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our own servers — we do not operate a server. Syncing uses your own private iCloud account, which is controlled by you and governed by Apple. There are no analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this URL.
